Vintage Covered Glass Footed Compote/Candy Dish Paneled Thistle Pattern

Description

This vintage pressed glass covered compote dish in the thistle pattern typical of the Higbee Glass Company but probably made by L. G. Wright at a later date has the Higbee “bee” mark on the inside of the lid and bowl and measures 11” tall, 7” in diameter at the lip, 4” in diameter at the base and weighs 3 pounds, 9 ounces. It is in fine condition (see photos). (2490-U)
L.G. Wright secured the molds from Higbee and began making reproductions of older items by Higbee and others, including this covered compote dish. It is a  stunning piece for any collector or one  who would  like to have it on display in their collection or in their home.
